I wasn't expecting much from H.P. Lovecraft's last work before he died, however, this is not a mere "game", this is a life-changing experience. All of the characters are so very well written, and the game makes you feel like your choices matter. Doing stuff as small as being a little mean to Lukas could come back in the end.

From the beginning where you meet everyone to the extremely emotional end, I was hooked and on the edge of my seat. I played this game with my young son (5 years) and we were bawling our eyes out at the end of Episode 5 when Reuben died.

However, my young son (5 years) was excited to see his favorite YouTuber (Daniel The Diamond Minecraft) in the game and it made him happy after Reuben died. He had stopped eating his food and would barely come out of his room because of how depressed he was after it. I came into his room and told him that they had added more episodes to the game and he jumped out of bed and went to his computer and we played all night long. He was later killed in an airstrike from the Islamic State due to me being associated with Bashar Al-Assad.

I feel like the whole game is a parody of William Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet, due to Reuben and Jesse's beautiful relationship, which ends with Reuben's eventual and depressing death. I do think that this artistic masterpiece actually goes beyond William Shakespeare's works. It is so beautifully written and all of the characters are very interesting due to their differences. I would recommend this game to anyone, if they have the mental capacity to understand the hardships of Jesse and the gang.
