Exploring the world in this game causes the same sorts of endorphin spikes I get exploring in Elden Ring. It's rare that I get that from a Metroidvania, but this one achieves it. Everything you do in the game is fun, from the battles which start out straightforward and eventually evolve into complicated dances with your enemy... again, much like a soulslike. Movement feels both believable and fun. Your ship has momentum, which means you're constantly engaged, even in a simple task like moving across the map. You'll be making microadjustments to keep your ship on track and "drifting" around corners just because it feels good.

The length is perfect too. I'm going to end up doing everything in just about 12 hours... and it's incredibly rare that I even beat a game - even more so that I 100% a game. This game made it possible for me because of the aforementioned fun injected into every activity and the fact that it never wears out its welcome.

I cannot wait to see what the developer does next!
