Back when this would have been a review for CS:GO, it would have been positive. But this is a review for CS 2. This game is not fun, everything that was changed about it is worse/unnecessary other than the modernization of graphics. The removal of many loved maps (Lake) and game-modes (Flying Scoutsman) was completely pointless. They could have just waited until the game was actually ready to be released to cut off servers and access to CS:GO. But they chose not to. I decided to wait before updating my review because I wanted to give valve a chance to fix these mistakes, but they haven't. Not enough effort has been made to reintroduce features lost to the update. The anti-cheat and reporting system is still basically obsolete.
