Changing my review to Not Recommended.
EDIT: DEVELOPMENT WAS DISCONTINUED. NO MORE UPDATES. THE GAME IS DEAD

With a PvP + PvE game in mind, the dev team has been nothing but disappointing the PvP community of the PvP only game it created. Despite their best efforts, PvE remains passable and the changes that were implemented to improve it largely ruined PvP. 0 of the 5 playable fighting styles are working as intended.

With a daily peak of 80 players, no crossplatform between PC, PS4 and the announced XBOX version whatsoever and continent-limited servers, the game has reached a Skullgirls-like limbo state... Without the dedicated veterans, that were so disappointed most of them left to play Soul Calibur 6.

On the plus side, the devs are somewhat active on the official Discord and what's left of the community is nice. Clocking in at 735 hours, I've had more than my fair share of fun with this game. It was a great experience of self-betterment, mastery and competition, but it's time for me to let it go and I suggest you do the same.
