@Xxbr@Zillian_h@t0rxX: To be 'more realistic' than another game, a game must simulate real life/history better (to be able to do more stuff in game that could also do in reality in that situation, and to NOT be able to do things in game that you couldn't do in reality in that situation).

'Realistic Medieval Ruler' is an overall metric, combining all of the more-specific metrics like: 'diplomacy', 'social/power structure', 'intrigue', 'relationships', 'personal growth/stats', 'events', 'economy', 'buildings', 'combat/strategy', 'graphics'(as it also helps a lot with immersion in the simulation).

@Xxbr@Zillian_h@t0rxX No game is 100% realistic, what I said it is the 'most realistic' compared to other similar games. But if you know a more 'realistic Medieval Ruler game', please tell me, I would very much like to play it.

I think there's a possible way to find a middle ground between the weak "few dudes come to steal stuff" and the "armageddon of doom" option, personally, but if you don't want to do that, then having a third option of delayed attacks would work---because I'm sure there are some people for whom even having much longer to prepare wouldn't be enough. I do like the added challenge option, though...
