Don't be fooled by the high praise in the trailers. I got this basically free from Humble Choice and still feel like I was ripped off. It's got a great aesthetic, but that's really the only thing going for it. Accomplishing anything takes far longer than it should, especially in the early game. Took a little more than 2 hours before I found the random bottle that allowed me to craft a very basic tool, an axe. The battle mechanics are extremely clunky and force you to rely either on throwables that you can't craft for too long or tools that break in less time than it takes to craft them. If the dev team hadn't completely abandoned this game, it might have a chance to at least be mediocre, instead it's left to rot with half-baked ideas and unfinished or entirely broken mechanics.

I'm rather torn with this game, it's far from your standard LEGO game, much closer in gameplay to LEGO Worlds. That's not necessarily a bad thing unless, like myself, you were expecting a standard game. There are no standalone levels, short of the bosses, it's entirely open world, and even the fastest movements are ungodly slow with no form of fast travel aside from traveling to different "planets". I'd say this is more like what LEGO Worlds should have been and remove the attachment to LEGO Movie 2 because there is hardly a normal story, just occasional narration from Wyldstyle. Overall, this was a disappointment due to the misrepresentation of this being a standard game, but had it been sold as LEGO Worlds 2, people would have loved it.

I wanted to like this game so badly, but the severe lack of any decipherable story or general direction absolutely killed it. That being said, the graphics aesthetic is nice and the music suits well to the environments. The attempt at conveying messages and directions through vague pictographic representations fell flatter than a piece of plywood.

Picture Goat Simulator without fracked up physics and with an actual goal and purpose, plus you're an ostrich, let the fun begin!

Honestly a rather amusing game, it feels like it needs a little bit more polishing to be an effective game, but not bad at all for a small devs 1.0 version. The ability to put a hat on your ostrich is priceless, because you never see an ostrich with a hat in real life and it's adorable!

Let's be honest, if you've gotten this far you're not in it for the game, you just want to see some pantsu shots.

As for the actual game, it's awful; clunky controls, serious lack of mode options or options in general, forced 640x480 resolution, practically non-existent/pointless story. The only redeeming factor is that the character designs are nice, but only nice, not anything too impressive.

Being a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland and American McGee's Alice, getting this game was a given. The story is enthralling and the visuals are incredibly detailed. Interesting jumps between the dullness of the real world portions and the extremely vibrant Wonderland levels. If you like Alice in Wonderland and third-person shooters this game is well worth the purchase.

Honestly, this game was just flatly awful, I could barely play it for as long as I did. If you can get it free it's worth it for the Steam Trading Cards, otherwise you couldn't pay me to play this game again, thankfully I got it for free to begin with.

Be prepared to throw your computer out the window while playing this highly addicting and frustrating game.

I hope you are ready to experience eppileptic seizures because this game will be the one to do it!

All joking aside, this was actually quite the entertaining side-scrolling shooter with various "filters" making the game feel like something from different decades of gaming.
