It's all Zelda. Which is actually mostly Link, but you get it. All art should be credited properly, please message any omissions/corrections.

So this is my 3rd rewrite of this review, and all of the revisions have been glowing. But since the game keeps getting better, I have to keep this updated as well. This review will be long, but for good reason. I will save you time and say it is *by far* the best jigsaw puzzle game you can possibly get. On any platform. In every way. I'm a BIG jigsaw fan too, which makes me very cool, I know I'm fully aware.

Overall, I prefer doing these puzzles more than physical ones that I own (and love) for a variety of reasons:
No false fits, no missing or broken pieces, each piece is uniquely shaped, no low lighting/glare issues, saves space, saves progress, no neck or back pain, you can move large sections without it falling apart, there's online multiplayer - so no crowding, built in soundtrack that is actually good, ability to throw the pieces all over the room and not have to clean them up, and the ability to hang each puzzle on the wall when finished without glue or frames.
That last two features I didn't think I'd care about, but now take pride in (try resist dropping a large pile down the stairs).

This is not even touching what this game specifically offers over it's competitors. Comparatively to other digital puzzle games, again, this one stands alone. I've played * so many * digital puzzle games and was actually "done" with them when I stumbled across this. The majority of them are random boring scenic images done in a small centered grid with an overlay and pieces floating in some void, that click in place when nothing is even connecting. It's not satisfying. Some even charge per custom picture or release DLC of boring images every other month. But JPD feels exactly like doing an actual jigsaw puzzle so as long as your image is good, you're having a great time. Even if you want to take an entire section to another part of the room and work on it, you can. It's super satisfying to work on several large sections and bring them together in the end. Now you can do that *on a bed*.

The big thing is, this game is free. With this, you get a plethora of actually interesting images to puzzle with, and the ability to customize your room fully, and even the ability to game with your friends. If you, or one of your friends who is hosting, own any of the (super cheap) DLC you can then do even more JPD pictures, and also custom images. Custom meaning any. Album art, game box art, your own drawings, your family photos (maybe not other people's family photos)--pretty much anything you want. It doesn't resize or distort images, and also supports insanely high resolutions. The higher the res, the better the puzzle will look even at larger sizes. The best puzzle I've ever done is the entire Smash Bros Ultimate roster as a 10,000 piece puzzle. It took almost 200 hours and it was amazing and it barely fits anywhere in the apartment - I love it.

I can't stress how there is no downside to this game. I already thought it was solid and then the devs just unloaded a huge update to make playing even better and smoother. The camera controls may seem overwhelming at first, but I promise if you can figure out any current day FPS/RPG game, you'll be absolutely fine. You can puzzle successfully without changing a single setting, but you can also find multiple pages of settings for anything you can think of.

And I don't know if this fits in, but I really want to say the community and devs are fantastic. I've been a part of many communities, a lot of them great, but the support this one has is... pretty special. I've heard the lead dev say that when he made this game it was because 'he just wanted a good jigsaw puzzle game', and didn't find one good enough, so he made it himself, and you can tell I think he delivered. In fact, it's rather frustrating having the complete package and it not getting the recognition it deserves. I'm just a member of the discord (not getting any compensation), but I've watched them genuinely listen to feedback from the community constantly, and seen them get really excited when people enjoy playing JPD. It makes their day. It's cool. They're cool. This game is cool.
