Games I played in 2021.
A list of all the games I started and completed, replayed or flushed down the toilet in 2021.

:lunar2019piginablanket: = replayed
:slugpoo: = flushed
 = had a good time
 = had a bad time

1. KOTOR. A classic I've played too many times. 4/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
2. Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Die. Nice puzzles. Too tame for LSL and the humor is a hit and miss. 4/5
3. Gibbous - A Cthulhu Adventure. Fantastic artwork but the puzzles, writing, humor and characters leave a lot to desire. 3/5
4. Snail Trek 1-4. Funny little adventure game series that sells for pennies. 3/5
5. Bloons TD 6. Addicting. Gets very difficult, and ends up taking a lot of time to progress on maps.
6. Underrail + Expedition DLC. Easily one of the best CRPGs in years. 5/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
7. Frog Detective 1 & 2. Fun bite-sized adventure games with lots of charming, wholesome humor. 3/5
8. Factorio. I need to play more. Much more. My designs always end up with sloppy spaghetti everywhere! 4/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
9. Quantum Conundrum. Decent puzzle game. John de Lancie is excellent but game fails to live up to his performance. 3/5
10. Old School RuneScape. I guess it's less of an MMO and more of a cult. ?/5 :slugpoo:
11. Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition. Utterly forgettable FPS with a gimmick. 2/5
12. Goosebumps. Short 'n simple adventure game. Expected more. 2/5
13. Tales of the Neon Sea. Beautiful puzzle adventure. Suffers a bit from localization issues. 3/5
14. FINAL FANTASY XII THE ZODIAC AGE. Among my favorite FF games. 4/5
15. The 39 Steps. Visual novel with a suspenseful story and good voice acting. 3/5
16. Abyss: The Wraiths of Eden. I get the urge to play a HOG every now and then. Don't know why. It might be a disease. 2/5
17. A Case of Distrust. Nice presentation for an otherwise forgettable mystery adventure game. 2/5
18. Deathtrap Dungeon: The Interactive Video Adventure. Eddie Marsan sits in a chair and narrates a classic, brutally difficult CYOA game. 3/5
19. Enigmatis: The Ghosts of Maple Creek. More HOGs. Yay. 2/5
20. STASIS. One of the best adventure games I've played in recent years. Got it in a bundle for a few euros which is basically theft for a game this good. 5/5
21. Fallout. Played with the Fo1in2 (Et tu) total conversion mod. A masterpiece. 5/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
22. Rebel Galaxy. Sweet arcade style space western with a banger soundtrack. Ends before gameplay gets too stale. Level scaling enemies sucked. 4/5
23. Youropa. Surprisingly smart puzzle game with a proper difficulty curve. 4/5
24. Yakuza Kiwami 2. Storywise not as good previous entries, but still a ton of fun. 4/5
25. Blacksad. Slick presentation with so-so voice acting and detective mechanics/puzzles. Wish adventure games would stop trying to ape Telltale's awful design choices. 2/5
26. Iris and the giant. Something about this moody deckbuilder just didn't click with me. Might return to it someday. ?/5 :slugpoo:
27. Kult: Heretic Kingdoms. Great fun for a pretty basic RPG. 3/5
28. Escape From Monkey Island. Classic. 5/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
29. Owlboy. Not bad. Killer art style. Bit too linear and easy. Was expecting more of a Metroidvania. 3/5
30. Paradise Killer. Another one of those "I can't believe I got this amazing game in a bundle" steals. Months later and I still listen to the soundtrack every now and then. 5/5
31. Carto. Solid puzzle game. Mechanics-wise not deep enough. 3/5
32. SYNTHETIK. Felt bad about flushing this. Will return to it someday. ?/5 :slugpoo:
33. Röki. A stylish adventure game that's heavily focused on puzzles. Loved every minute of this grim fairy tale. 5/5
34. Superliminal. The game has a neat trick, but that's about it. 3/5
35. Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. So close to being really good. Once I found an ability setup that "just works", I didn't feel like changing up and blew through the game. 3/5
36. Markus Ritter - The Lost Family. Unintentionally hilarious prologue. A Gabriel Knight 2 style game in this day and age? Sign me up. 3/5
37. EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair. Got a bit bored playing alone, might try again later. 3/5 :slugpoo:
38. 11-11 Memories Retold. Enjoyable visual novel that jumps, nay, balloons the shark at the end. Not great, not terrible. 2/5
39. NEOVERSE. Bland. 2/5 :slugpoo:
40. LIT: Bend the Light. Fun while it lasts. 3/5
41. The Dream Machine. A brilliant point and click adventure game handcrafted from clay and cardboard. A mind-bending journey done well. 5/5
42. Darksiders Warmastered Edition. BORING! Loves nothing more than to waste the player's time with endless arenas and other roadblocks. 2/5 :slugpoo:
43. Leisure Suit Larry 6 - Shape Up Or Slip Out. As good as the newer LSL games are, they can't hold a candle to the classics. 5/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
44. Dark Messiah of Might & Magic. No bugs or crashes for me. Yay! Is this what being a lotto winner feels like? 4/5
45. Detective Di: The Silk Rose Murders. Just an enjoyable little detective adventure. Bit too easy. 3/5
46. F.E.A.R. That damn ladder scare made me jump again. Twice! 5/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
47. DISTRAINT 1&2. Replayed the first game to get up to speed for the second. Underrated short horror adventures. Second game got a bit too heavy handed and preachy. 3/5
48. Star Trek Timelines. Pure garbage. 0/5 :slugpoo:
49. Return to Castle Wolfenstein. Still holds up. 4/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
50. If On A Winter's Night, Four Travelers. An adventure game debut that makes me excited for whatever the devs cook up next. 3/5
51. Jewel Match Twilight Solitaire. It's not just solitaire. It's spooky solitaire. With bats, vampires and skellingtons. Spoooooky! 2/5
52. Dark Fall: Ghost Vigil. Diabolical puzzles. 4/5
53. DARQ. Gets kinda stale but the game's puzzles are entertaining enough. Straight up skipped the DLC because I'd had enough. 3/5
54. Hero Siege. A small indie ARPG I keep coming back to every now and then. 3/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
55. Jenny LeClue - Detectivu. A smart and funny adventure game. That cliffhanger, though. Ouch! Hope this sold enough copies to get a sequel. 3/5
56. Shape of the World. A chill, relaxing experience with nice music. 3/5
57. Evan's Remains. Too short and easy. Puts too much emphasis on the dialogue, and not enough on the puzzle platforming. 2/5
58. Ministry of Broadcast. Loved this so much! A clever, funny puzzle platformer that's a great throwback to games like Flashback and Another World. 5/5
59. She Sees Red. FMV movie game. You wouldn't watch this if it was a movie. 2/5
60. Narcosis. An atmospheric, bittersweet horror experience. 4/5
61. Irony Curtain: From Matryoshka with Love. The art and puzzles work. The story and humor, though, not so much. 3/5
62. The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. One of these days I'll complete a full playthrough. 5/5 :lunar2019piginablanket:
63. Heavy Rain. I don't think I want to play another David Cage game for awhile. Had annoying controller issues that took time to fix. 3/5
64. Supraland. A fine Metroidvania with lots of areas to explore and secrets to find. Combat is pretty basic. 3/5
65. Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. Smiled my way through this short puzzler. 3/5
66. Sven's SudokuPad. The all-in-one Sudoku app. I do a GAS puzzle from the CtC Discord everyday. 5/5
67. Ring of Pain. A wonderful deckbuilder that I want to "git gud" in. I'll definitely be returning to this one. 5/5

Happy Easter :-)

@Alamar The main reason I gave Deadfire a negative review is not because the game is that bad, but because of how the story ends up ruining an otherwise enjoyable (if bland) sequel. I thoroughly enjoyed the DLCs, however, and thanks to them I might replay the game in the future on PotD difficulty and re-evaluate my review.

You'll probably get more out of Deadfire than ATOM in a single playthrough, but considering how ATOM came out of nowhere and positively surprised me with its charm, challenge and humor, it's worth playing. Especially since it's a pretty inexpensive indie game that goes on sale regularly. I haven't played it since launch, but I see there's been rebalancing patches, so I believe it has better replayability now than before. I really should replay this one too.

You can get the Star Trek TNG background basically for free in the points shop, just play Pinball Arcade (free to play) for a couple of hours and it'll show up there. ;)

Hello, you have Star Trek background/profile (i just looked at market, steep price ;) ) I like the game you played. I'm about to start in a not long time Pillars of Eternity 2 and it was interesting to read you negatively reviewed it and positively Atom. Is it really a better game for one time playthrough? Ok that all from me :]
