Factorio fills in a very niche role within the gaming scene, and for those that only play fast action games you won't find any of that here. But even many of those gamers might find the satisfying nature this game can bring. There is something very exhilarating to see all the moving parts come together and make everything work as a whole.

There is definately some timed pressure when playing with the enemy AI, they will come and will ramp their attacks. This is the point where you will find yourself wanting to build more and faster only to find out you need to redo parts of your factory. This will force your to think logicly but also creatively to solve problems and not tear down everything you have already build. Its up to you to start watching guides online but it will take away that initial magic the game has, but at the same time some things are just so damn handy to know as a new player.

As for older players, they will find themself planning ahead to make their next factory bigger and faster then their old one's. I absolutely love picking up the game again after I completed a factory and starting from scratch again.
