Literally unplayable.

The tutorial cannot be skipped and is a glitchy mess that randomly fails to spawn in cards so that even with countless restarts it cannot be beaten.

Looking up solutions online suggested that reducing the number of CPU cores it ran on would fix the issue, but after numerous attempts with different core numbers all that would do is make it freeze upon starting the tutorial.

Great game. Ignore the recent negative review bombing by entitled idiots.

Bad even by free joke-game standards.

A great game with good but prohibitively expensive DLC.

Someone like me with thousands of hours in the game might get their money's worth from the DLC but for a new or casual players the prices are nothing short of absurd.

One of the worst tower defense games I've ever played, made worse for the fact that you have to pay for this shiny turd unlike the dozens of better free alternatives.

Graphics are decent but gameplay mechanics are awful.

Early Access Review
A game of both brutality and finesse.

Overgrowth is a game of beatiful exploration and obstacle traversing and unforgivingly fast, violent, reflexive and skill-based combat.
If you die it's always due to your own errors, and you will learn from your many mistakes.

The game gets fairly regular small updates and features a wide variety of community-made mods and maps to explore and comat within.

If you're the creative type the game comes with an in-built editor that can be accessed literally any time while playing the game, in which you can quickly dynamically edit characters, items and the entire terrain itself, in order to easily create your own unique maps and scenarios.

Even unfinished this game is an utter joy to play and can provide many many hours of entertainment.

(As a rough estimate) I have played upwards of 60 hours of this game prior to it coming out on Steam.

A decent roguelike, let down by far too little content, especially in regards to crafting recipes.

Desperately needed mod support,

This old game can still be plenty of fun, and its story line is definitely the best out of all the STALKER titles, even if its mechanics aren't as good, but you can make use of the many mods created to make up for that.
