Really enjoyable co-op experience that provides both humorous moments and genuine terror with an addictive gameplay loop that leaves you always wanting for more.

The premium experience fails to live up to the original MW2 with its way-too-safe campaign, lackluster coop and rather limited pool of multiplayer maps both at launch and right now.

While I've had my fun with the game, the poor communication with the community, the bugs, the lack of real significant post-launch content, the terrible main menu UI and the bad perk system, this has been a rather disappointing COD. What's worse is that it uses the name of a much better game that you can still purchase here for relatively cheap and you can find people playing still.

No point in getting this game anymore since most of the content is being transferred over to MW23.

Fast-paced gory fighter with lots of variety. Lot's of fun by yourself or with friends. Wouldn't recommend going online these days though. All that is left are really good players.

While it's not the best port, it's still fun and the base Half Life experience.
I'd still recommend the original GoldSrc version and the Black Mesa remake over HLS, but if you have this game, whatever grievances you may have are very minor compared to the full package.

Fun gameplay, good number of well made maps, excellent music, good space combat, entertaining even solo.

I wholeheartedly recommend this game to any and all individuals that exist. The writing is marvelous and the RPG mechanics are fantastic and complex. The graphics may not be much to look at but the general aesthetic is great. The soundtrack is very good and not just the licensed radio songs but the original music as well.

It may be a little rusty but put a couple of quality of life mods into this baby and you'll have a smoother experience.

The modding scene is one of the largest and longest living right now for a game in nexus despite being amost 10 years old. If you are interested check some mods for this game, but the vanilla package (DLC included) is already worth it and with it being on sale a lot of times you'd be missing out if you dont pick it up.
