The time I spent playing this blew by. What a fun game!

The franchise is new to me, and I held my breath for most of the game waiting for it to take some dark turn; but it kept its hopeful promise until the end. This is great for players who want to be told a good story, without having to make their own. I was very surprised by how engaging the plot felt, and how genuine even its sweetest story moments played.

Not having to grind in an RPG unless you want to felt revelatory. Want to use an item without skipping a turn? Want to summon more than one of your (untargetable/invincible) pets for a fight? Need to change your gear in combat? Make an early-game NPC gather for you? Want to grind and enhance gear to be ridiculously overpowered? WitchSpring R lets you do all those things and more, and the game feels amazing for it.
