The bad steam reviews are coming from people who dont realize the UI was always a slog since 2019. Theres others who are leaving bad reviews because theyre having issues, crashes, etc, but they dont speak for the larger playerbase. I logged in to see what the fuss was about and people are just dumb and self entitled. Yeah, the UI isnt great, it never was great, it was always awkward, but that didnt stop the playerbase from growing over time. The truth is, with this new update, the game is in possibly the best state of play that it ever has been. Navigating the menus, while awkward, isnt impossible, nor is it even infuriating. Its just not great, which doesn equate to "its terrible oh my god review bomb this otherwise excellent game!" Dumb people are just self entitled, especially when they dont understand something as complex as game development and UI design. The game works! Its great fun! If you dont want to play it because of the UI, you simply dont want to play the game and are just looking for reasons to cry about ♥♥♥♥ you dont understand. Grow up. Developers dont work to appease ignorant children, so just let them do their damn jobs. If theyre going to improve the UI, it will happen, if not, it wont, it doesnt change the fact that its still a solid game at its core. If you cant handle this games UI, then I would hate to imagine how you children manage in the real world.

If you like the game, if you enjoy pvpve extraction shooters with immersive atmosphere and amazing sound design, then play it! If you dont, then shut up! People want to know if the game is good or not, they dont care if you feel entitled to having a different menu. I personally dont give two ♥♥♥♥♥ about the UI, i'll just manage if i want to play the game, because thats how adults behave. I had zero issue purchasing a hunter and giving them a loadout. Stop crying. Sure it could be better, but its not a make or break situation, like net code, server stability or anti cheat effectiveness. Ignorant people are just so damn self entitled that its offensive to witness and know about. You either like the game or you dont, and if the UI is your hill you choose to die on, you couldnt have picked a dumber sticking point. I'd tell you all to go touch grass, but I believe you'd be overwhelmed with real lifes UI.
