Patched so it works now

Nice upgrade to the original. Now you can actually play with friends now that the old GameSpy client has been replaced by regular matchmaking

only a keyboard and mouse gamer, so having to emulate the joystick and 8 buttons on a keyboard was just too much.

Despite what the blurb would have you believe, there's no PvE servers, only PvP. This means that non-twitchers like me cannot even get used to the game before getting our heads blown off.

Good grief - Setting controls is hideous. Took me far too long to discover that setting my Airflo joypad (which the game knew) was using button *4* for select, not the select button, not A (1).

After the frustration of trying to select the controls for player 1 to even set them to the airflo, I gave up.

Not a game for (evidently) idiots like me who can't read dev's mind on which controls mean what on the selection screen.

I didn't even get to try the fighting aspect

Don't worry too much about golden keys, you can get ~150 from the codes currently active.
Great for solo as well as multiplayer, but some of the special bosses will be unbeatable without teams, or special combinations of items.
