Its really sad to say but this is a horrible pc port. I love this game so much. I have bought this game 3 different times already. I've bought this game on PS3, PS4, and third time on PS5. So its sad to say that this game is horribly optimized for pc. I'm running on RTX 4090 i9 13900k at 4K with DLSS on performance and the frame rate still dips below 60 FPS. RE4 remake at native 4K never dip below 120 FPS.

Yeah the patches have helped a lot. Honestly the second though seemed to worsen it. I don't know but the performance seemed worse after #2. #1 was amazing though and definitely helped the CPU not drown to death in the menu.

yeah i have a 4090 but honestly with this last patch the stuttering has pretty much gone away and frames have improved a bit but there are still some areas in the game where it will dip below 60

Are you sure it's a 4090 lol? I have a 3090 and I get a solid 75-85fps. I've only had it dip to 55 one time.

I asked questions to help troubleshoot... As I have the same set up, I just pointed out that you may potentially have other issues.

I think it's clear from the reviews there's significant issues with this game.

I guess I've been lucky.

Refund until it's fixed.
