Super Street Fighter II Turbo and Windjammers were both released in the Spring of 1994. While SSFII served as the foundation for countless fighters since, we never experienced the golden era of flying disc games that we deserved. Windjammers 2 is the perfect update to a true classic and just as endlessly playable. The numerous court designs, colorful art/animation, and overall vibe are all on-point.

The deep gameplay is very fast, dynamic, and fun once you surpass the learning curve. Before you play, it's highly recommended that you read this page along with two external guides linked there. (Amazingly, this sequel is so faithful to the original that they share many of the same tips & tricks.)

Pro tip: Beginners should use VERSUS mode (not arcade) to experiment and learn your play-style. You can select a CPU opponent and gradually increase its difficulty from 1 as your skills improve. Curve throws, lobs, supers, and reversals--when you get the hang of these, you'll feel like you're truly throwing a disc at breakneck speeds! Once that happens, you can strut confidently into arcade mode.
