I still think about this game all the time.

I keep wanting to like games in this "drive heavy equipment simulator" genre but I keep bouncing off them (including plenty from Saber, sorry!), for clunky controls and other reasons. Docked is the first time that I've played a game in this style that I want to come back and do more with it. The controls are intuitive, the physics feel realistic but not punishing, the detailing is beautiful, and the world feels like a real-world container port, not just a few interactive mission objects surrounded by fixed obstacles. The demo kept you a bit on rails but it played mostly like a tutorial and it's clear from the menu structure and the other elements that the game itself will likely give you the ability to take all sorts of different jobs with upgrade paths for the port and such. I'm looking forward to seeing how the devs flesh out that part of the game. I'm glad they released this demo, not only to get some hype but also because I probably would have written this game off as another likely-to-disappoint entry and waited for a deep discount. As it stands I look forward to buying this at release.

Much of the text in this game is impossibly small to read with any ease. My vision isn't perfect so this may not be an issue for everyone, but the design choices show no thought put into making the interface usable by a wide range of people.

Has there ever been a more charming game than this?! Beautiful.
