Honestly, it kind of sucks this game has been out for so long and they still haven't got the TTK on weapons sorted. Don't waste your time.

It's confusing, extremely hard to learn, and almost all other players are psychopaths eager to ruin your games. I won't even play this if it goes F2P (which it might because it's doing so poorly). I can't believe Bungie did this instead of Destiny 3. This would be so much better if they didn't chase the extraction shooter fad.

I feel like an old person holding up the line at the convience store.

Dummy fun, addictive, and well thought out by the developers. All for the price of 1 real life scratch card.

Probably fun if you've got people to play with. Avoid like the plauge if you're a solo. You'll be griefed over and over and over. I played 4 rounds, each lasting less than 2 minutes:

1) Immediately killed by robots (your peashooter in-game is SIGNIFICANTLY less powerful than the one in the tutorial)
2) Immediately killed by other players. No in game voice at all.
3) Immediately killed by other players AND robots. Again: no voice chat happened.
4) Immediately tracked, hunted, and killed by a group of players cackling like hyenas. Spawn camping?

I was seriously unimpressed and expected so much more out of a $60 game.

I bought it again on sale for $40 after reading that they split people into "very agressive" and "not aggressive" PVP players. I had absurd rat-camping deaths twice more at the start, but ever since I seem to have been playing with peaceful other players.

Edit AGAIN: So I'm 30 hours in and I've seen all there is to see. There are less than 500 total things you can pick up. You learn what can and can't be interacted with fairly quickly and then the game becomes a convoluted gatcha game.
Loot is NOT distrubted in any sane manner. I have been looking for "rusted gear" for hours and despite coming across MANY other "Epic" and "Legendary" items: a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ "rusted gear" is preventing me from progressing.

It seems like there might be a fun game buried under an insane amount of bugs. I have high hopes they can fix it up by 1.0.

(Updated after another 10 hours). It's fun even with a ton of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bugs. In fact, if you can tolerate them it kind of becomes part of the games charm.

(Updated after ANOTHER 10 hours). The bugs are no longer charming. Especially when they cause you to lose whole days progress.

Fantastic and beautiful game. Personally, I felt the story went off the rails in Act III and I had a hard time finishing it because I couldn't take Act III seriously, but that might have been just my own personal interpretation. Still the most fun I've had in this kind of game since older Final Fantasy titles.

Doom meets Hotline Miami -- super fun!

Didn't click fast enough? Oops. Not high enough level for that. Better buy more stuff. Can't grind for hours to get good stuff? Too bad. Game is an unfinished, frustrating, buggy mess that's more Dark Souls than Diablo, some people love that.
