This is without a doubt the best RPG I have ever played. The story, lore, and worldbuilding of this game are simply amazing. The combat mechanics are also very good compared to other rpgs. I know many people have said online the gunplay in this game is bad but I have to disagree completely on that. Compared to Bethesda's Fallout 3 which had first person gun mechanics but all the guns had no sights, Obsidian thankfully added actual sights to the weapons in this game as well as multiple ammo types. If you like sci-fi RPGs with okay combat mechanics and a very complex world then this is the game for you. Viva New Vegas!!!!!

Love the Fallout Series and its lore. Fallout 1 when compared to its successes Considering everything that came after Fallout 1 is good as it does an excellent job at establishing the themes and world building of the Fallout series. It also does a better job than any other game in the series at establishing the brutal atmosphere of the wasteland. 9/10 Excellent game but very difficult.
