In topic Samsung Steam Link App 4k support
You need a 4K monitor as well to stream 4K resolution, even with a 2017 TV.

In topic Did anyone actually pre purchased the game?
Prepurchased this game from Steam for the full price even though I'd normally use something like cd key store. Stay mad kid

I played a game for around 2 hours yesterday with a wired X360 controller, game had plenty of rumble, did not cause any lag spikes.

Maybe it's an issue with a specific game or wireless controller?

Hmm, I don't see anything. Is there a list of supported TV's? I have the Samsung UE40JU6400KXXU.

That's a 2015 model, it's only available on 2016 and 2017. Should probably be in the original post.

JU/JS = 2015 UHD TV
KU/KS = 2016 UHD TV
MU/Q = 2017 UHD TV

2010-2015 TVs had a different operating system

App available in Europe now also. It's under the "Games" category in the appstore.

Did a quick test and it worked really well. Great!

This works for all the COUNTRIES not only US, you don't need to use a vpn you only have to change the country to US in the TV settings, check the previous messages to see how.

It's not possible to change the region to US on a European model. Only possible if you have a North America model (which are probably sold in US, Canada, Mexico and probably South America as well).

If your TV is a UNXXMUYYYY model you can put it to US region.
If your TV is a UEXXMUYYYY you can't.

U=Panel type LED (Q=QLED, etc)
N/E/A=North America/Europe/Asia
XX=Panel size
M=2017 line (K=2016, J=2015)
U=4K TV
YYYY=Model number

Yes all Samsung MU* TVs have the same quad-core processor. Some of the very high end QLED / SUHD models might have a better one, but I doubt it.

I don't think Samsung even make Android TVs. It's available for Tizen.

after full restart of my TV, finally i downloaded this AP and its working.

CONS:

1. IT's very bad, that i cant change Mode of TV from GAME, to Dynamic or something else during the playing. This function is inactive on TV.

Are you serious? You're not supposed to be able to change it. Game mode has ~20 ms latency whereas all the others can have something like 150 ms due to all the image processing applied.

But even more crazy is the fact you'd want to put it in Dynamic mode? That's literally only there to be used in a Best Buy store room, it's the absolute worst mode on a TV and IS NOT supposed to be used at home under any circumstances. Jesus Christ

I can tell you right that I'll be rating this as low as possible. Have tried everything mentioned on here. Does not show up no matter what I try. Very little response from actual support people, with poor assistance in troubleshooting.

They ask for feedback, but when its broke, provide no real steps to resolve....

Steam, please provide an EXACT model list of supported models. Both my TVs are Samsung SUHD 2016 models. What models does this support?

If you can't see the app anywhere then your TV is probably not supported. Are they both Tizen TVs? I'm in Europe and even I can see the app, just can't download it.
