Era pra jogar 30 minutos, acabei jogando 4 horas.
Divertido.

Hero of the Kingdom is always fun, this one is a nice addition.
The first 3 games are longer, with more achievements and hidden stuff to find,
"the lost tales" ones are shorter, achievements are easier to get, more focused on the story.

I recommend if you like to search hidden objects and simple stories

Does the trees really communicate like that?

I played What Remains of Edith Finch for the first time 5 years ago, and I haven't been able to find it again because, for some reason, my "10/10" category disappeared from my library, and it's hard to remember game titles when you have over 1000, but I believe that made the moment more special; walking through the forest again, looking at the house from afar and reliving the experience of the first time was incredible, something that always happens with the games listed by Annapurna. If I could, I'd buy them all.

The game does something very interesting: it maintains an extremely comfortable setting while delivering a sad story. It's not an aesthetic accident, it's a profound narrative choice that touches on hard topics without emotionally assaulting you. Each story has a different tone with many unexpected events, something very close to how dreams work, but still grounded. It's not confusing, It's doesn't push, it reveals itself slowly, naturally, and while the scenery changes you can feel the memories.

And the scenery... it's truly fascinating, something that makes you want to explore every detail. I feel this game was made with a lot of care; many times I felt like I was living inside the environments. A small spoiler: The first time the game throws you into the body of a cat without warning, maintaining the first-person view, it really makes you feel like you've transformed into something else, and that's a lot of fun. I would like to find more games that do that.

I wanted to comment on more things, but it's a little difficult to do so without giving spoilers because the story is very connected to everything that happens during gameplay. So I can only say that it's one of the most incredible games I've ever played. I love games that can bloom imagination into scenarios that you can touch. If you like exploring environments and good stories, with a melancholic atmosphere, or if you just daydream a lot, you'll definitely enjoy this one.

I really like Mini Metro, what you're doing is an interesting variation, but it's missing many mechanics. The building distribution is very slow, and there's no option to speed up or slow down the time.

I'm so happy to have found this game! Besides having super cute graphics, the gameplay is incredible. Every time you start a new game you get a random instrument that you can use however you want, and also mix with other instruments to create unique songs. If you like music and creating random musical compositions, you'll love this. The levels have some random pieces that you can use to modify the sound of the instruments as well.

In general, it's very similar to what you can do with synthesizers and loop stuff, but here you don't need any musical knowledge, it's all very simple and playful, a great game to chill. At the end of the levels you also have the option to save your composition on a personalized tape in-game or if you want, you can also save it as a music file on your PC.

A game capable of changing between completely different scenarios in seconds and still delivers a story full of meaning that isn't hard to follow up! I don't know how many times I had "wow" moments while playing it, it's a lot of fun. I also loved the characters, totally worth it.
