Stealth still worked on these, and he's just as instrumental, if not moreso to mania and the mobile ports as Christian is. Stealth on twitter has gone into detail about the development and it essentially has to do with SEGA rushing out the product.
I love Whitehead as much as the next guy, but lets not pretend Stealth isn't just as important or skilled as he is. Whitehead still provided the engine, but didn't work on Origins due to being obligated with another game at the moment.
Even if they fix this issues in the future, they released this game knowing it wasn't complete, a platform game which cannot be played correctly on a keyboard isn't worth 40 dollars.
