A very interesting, very polarizing game. BUT, those who enjoy hardcore old-school style MMOs will find a lot to love here.

The game looks gorgeous, but outside of looks it is definitely a bit rough around the edges. It still needs more content, but the base game is really fun.

Dont get discouraged by the PKers and griefers. For every griefer I've also managed to meet someone nice and helpful. Just today I got ran down by a guild and lost my horse, only for a high level tamer to simply walk up and provide me a horse free of charge when I was out searching later.

If you don't jive with your starting town, then pack up and move, because each town feels like its own community. Don't get discouraged by dying. It can feel rough, but so far I've always managed to get back up and end the day further ahead then where I started.

Also, connect with people. Having a guild goes a long way, as they will probably help gear you up and protect you while you're learning the game.
