One of the good old racing games that are still awesome after many years. As long as LAN play works, this game will never die. Runs fine in Proton.

The idea is great but the gameplay is so stupid and overcomplicated that the game is unplayable without a crystal ball. But if you've got one, it runs perfectly well on Linux and AMD 7800/7900 XT.

Spolu s DOS2 je BG3 nejlepším RPG vůbec, plně zaslouženou hrou roku 2023 a jednou z nejlepších her v celé historii.

This game has a lots of issues and the dev ignores all of them. It's a scam. The game is unplayable. Sad to see this published and allowed on Steam.

For some reason they decided to add a suspicious DRM to a 14 years old game. A DRM that is supposed to prevent any modding or tampering just because they can't stand that people create and use nude mods. This is a strange move that should not be accepted. Not only it breaks all mods but it raises questions about potential security and trust issues with Capcom.
Steam Deck users should re-check whether this DRM, that came out of nowhere, is/will-be compatible because there seems to be no guarantee.

Short but still fun. Could've easily been my favourite Serious Sam, if the technical part was done properly.
Looks and runs worse than SS3. We can now clearly see that Alen Ladavac (who left in the middle of development of Sam 4) was the most important developer of them all. With Alen, Croteam was able to make great games with excellent Vulkan implementation and support all platforms. Their games ran insanely well and they were able to adopt new technologies crazy fast. Without Alen, it seems like there are people with zero knowledge what to do with the engine and all they can do is make maps. The whole company lost not only its personality but coding skill dropped to bare minimum.

Good old Sam. Great coop. I enjoy this much more than Doom Eternal and I find this to be the better game.

As of December 2023, I recommend the following launch parameters for Linux:

Vulkan renderer is gimped af in this game. I still hate Croteam for not delivering the native version.

This feels like a true next-gen experience. I can't remember ever witnessing such a leap between two great games of the same franchise. I wasn't following the development and didn't know anything about the game at all before I bought it, so the wow effect was massive.

Sadly, Croteam no longer makes native Linux versions (the first one is native). On the other hand, it runs maxed out on my Arch Linux gaming desktop with an RX 7800 XT in Proton just fine. Would be great if there at least was Vulkan.

If you like puzzles or simply enjoyed the first game, go ahead and buy this one. I'm sure you won't regret.

I don't know anything about the game itself yet but I'm already pissed off for the following reasons:

- ♥♥♥♥ all kinds of launchers, it's really unfomfortable having to wait for something to start, load and be forced to tolerate Wine system tray always active
- console-focused UI that doesn't even support mouse in any way, key bindings like "X" for quit make no sense
- the game took me straight to action without letting me to explore menu and settings, making me to watch some kind of a wannabe-movie ♥♥♥♥
- quick races either aren't there or are unlocked by playing the so-called "story mode"

I stopped paying for Ubisoft games for these reasons (stopped paying != stopped playing) and I'm adding EA to that list. The launcher itself is enough for me to use the "ignore publisher" feature on Steam.

Refunded.

It's pretty much the same game we already bought twice, just with more content. I think at this point we all take new TWWH games as expansion packs for the universe. TWWH3 looks really great graphics-wise, controls great and plays fine. I don't know what they did to the visuals and controls but it's so much better. In my opinion, this game is a great final ending to such a loved series.

The native Linux version is ported by Feral Interactive, performs really well on my RX 6700 XT (runs maxed out), has exclusive mod manager and FSR 1.0 support. Sadly, it's probably the last one.

In case there's anyone from CA reading this - Feral themselves said they are giving up on porting due to Proton. This was related to TW: Pharaoh. This is understandable, however this is where my Total War journey ends. There's a lot of games out there, including strategy games. There's a reason Total War stood out for me - buying a TW game always felt like buying a premium game with top-notch support and performance. This was mainly thanks to Feral for delivering it to us as a well-crafted package together with their launcher, Feral3D Vulkan implementation and so on.
Without all of this, for me this (starting with Pharaoh) it's not Total War anymore. Therefore, as long as the deal between CA and Feral is no longer a thing, this is my last TW. I don't mind using Proton but I'll never use it for Total War.

Thanks Feral <3 And goodbye.
