Although I'm still a useless noob at this game I spent a lot of hours watching tutorials and videos of people playing the game so I dare to say that I learned a lot about the potential and the features. In this game you can create your own WW2 history, make your own stories. The depth of this game is really stunning.

Technically it's an RTwP game (real-time with pause) as we are used to in Paradox games. It's pretty complex and the entry barrier for new people is high but it's still a bit easier to get into than other Paradox games like EU4, CK2 or (holy mother of bananas) Victoria 2. I still find Stellaris easier to learn so if you are wondering how easy or hard it is you can imagine this game somewhere in the middle of EU4 and Stellaris.

It's obviously focused on WW2, supports cross-platform multiplayer and the good thing is that unlike Civilization only the host has to own DLCs, the other players don't have to own them. This is really nice of Paradox, they are not as greedy as people say.

The Linux version is absolutely fantastic, it's a top-notch native port with amazing performance and full support since day-1. I recommend this game to strategy enthusiasts and WW2 fans. Prepare yourself to be confused a lot but if you have the will and the patience this will probably turn into one of your favourite games.

In myy opinion it is a zillion times harder to get into than eu4. Getting into CK2 I consider impossible but else this to be the hardest paradox title.
