i'm still struck with awe how much fun this game provides me with. especially considering how it looks.

probably one of the best platformer in recent history, risk of rain is a minimalistic product, created to offer old-school, pixel gaming feel, respecting most of the rules of the genre, but still deep enough to raise a challenge through completely hectic xp of end gameplay, bringing joyful feelings to its participants.

chaotic glory of multiple pixel destructions happening all around ur character, sometimes blinding u with colors and unrecognizable constructs, works great in combination with constant upgrades u will be chasing around to make ur character stronger and better at survival, resulting in complete loss of grasp over time, leaving hours in this game as u try to beat its unforgiving difficulty progression, possibly forcing u to dream about it, as u fail just before the end of a mission.

and u will b returning to it, bringing ur best coop m8s, sharing both joy and sorrow, and no matter how much it frustrates u, or how many times u have 2 start from the plain beginning, u won't give up until u beat it. and then, u will just start the entire thing again. at least a few times more.

offering adequate combo of great genre features with hardcore gameplay settings, this is a funfest to all serious gamers out there. and simply said, if u like platform games, this is a MUST.

yet another successful entry to the RTS, spanning across all floors, even to ARTS and RPG genres, with its standalone game mode.

an epic campaign, which can be played in an mp coop mode, really adds to experience, which essentially makes the replay value pretty high, whether u r into a short tactical-based coop fun, or massive and mind-blowing story experience.

a simple MUST for any serious strategy, tactical, team-based or coop gameplay fans!

whether u r just a casual gamer or u play casual games to relax between hardcore sessions, this bunch of heroes won't let u down.

being a successful mix between old school and contemporary gaming, it features 3rd person with ease and accessibility of a typical shooter, offering very little else but tremendous amount of fun, both for u and ur teamm8s. bright colors and twisted humor just add to its primary purpose - relaxing u until u r out there yet again.

streamlined and intuitive, this game won't cause any trouble, either for u or ur wallet, and it may just b one of the best purchases u make in ur gaming life. go for it.

simple, yet brilliant gem!

this is one of those old school games u miss so much, that help u relax, while clearing ur mind after a stressful or tiresome day. one simply has to have something like this in games library - it helps to stay sane and refilled for other conquests.

there aren't any real cons. just take ur friends with u, and u r sure 2 have fun.

one of the best MMOs around: free, based on a respectful franchise, decently coded, runs on a good engine, two-type gameplay, feature-full, greatly customizable and user-generated content.

while the game had bad start, and received average remarks, the recent leap out of Atari's hands almost solved all those issues, and Star Trek Online is not the game it was two years ago.

that said, if u like space simulations, and rpg-based ground combat, and u must multiplay with ur co-op buddies to have interest in a game, this is a very good choice.

and if u r a Star Trek fan, then, there is no excuse why u r not already playing the game! :D

it may not b the greatest game of all times, but i don't think that's Star Trek's style anyway. for what it is, it's pretty good.

for a free game, this is one incredibly fun sci-fi creation, building on steam's co-op capabilities, which gives it immersive replay value, making it an awesome return-back platform. given its free access to the game's sdk, enriches the experience even further, adding various creative production of new game content based on valve's source engine.

what would u need more from a top-down squad-based shoot 'em up action game? valve did a great job piercing to gamers globally with this free content.

if u like horror movies, 3rd person games with more of a personal touch, and think unreal engine can handle both, you are gonna have some great fun with this game. beware: low replayability.

if you have never played this remarkable D&D child, you are missing, for no adequate reason, unexplainable amount of tremendous fun, especially in co-op multiplayer! beware: engine unoptimized.
