Okay, so She Will Punish Them is a game that's about creating the perfect succubi, putting her in lingerie, and then taking inappropriate pictures to use as wank fodder. You can get crystals to achieve this by running around nearly naked and killing enemies with Soulslike combat (I guess), picking up Diablo-like loot and using RPG elements. The core of the battles is genuinely fun.

Thing is, if you like this kind of combat, it gets pretty stale fast. It primarily is just spamming the left mouse button for long periods of time, which is basically the worst description possible since you can really simplify any game to this, but it really doesn't have the depth that it deserves in this aspect. On the upside, the AI is excellent. They take initiative, they work together, and they're pretty good at not dying. With only two levels in each of your three partner, you can make the companions a wrecking crew that can melt bosses several levels higher than they are with no involvement from you whatsoever. Watch the video, there's a bit where I do show the AI just mercilessly beating one of the minor levels by themselves (for the major levels, you do have to run in for the enemies to spawn).

Graphically, the game's pretty good. Sadly, it's forced into options you can't customize, so my poor GTX 970 was only able to play it at 40 FPS at 1080p. Does it look good? Yeah, it does, but it will cost you at the expense of GPU horsepower. Soundwise? It uses some licensed tracks from Nicolas Jeudy, one of which are perfect and one of which is legendarily annoying. So, you know, it could improve in both regards. What it doesn't have at all is plot, just a "okay, go clear out these castles, BYE"-- you're going to need some imagination here.

What really impresses me is the dedication of the team. They went bankrupt during Covid. And recently, after bringing the game back with a major update, they started churning them out like candy, and got a massive influx of players as a result with a 40% discount. I hope it's enough to bring the studio back, this game has exquisite potential.

Oh, and the boobs aren't as high poly as they could be. Devs, look into generating them with bezier curves in realtime and use the simpler model for the clothing model deformation. You can get hundreds of thousand of polygons up close, being actually round, or the same performance hit as they have in battle, so GPUs don't melt unnecessarily.

tl;dr I bought the game as a joke and I spent 8 hours more than I thought I would have.
