Note 2: VERY IMPORTANT! Do not play this game if your Documents folder contains Cyrillic alphabet. Even though the game will tell you that your progress is saved, it will not! This happened to me while I was playing Angela's Fashion Fever, so I had to start the whole game from the very beginning (and I was right in the middle of it!).

I absolutely love Delicious series. Its gameplay is perfect in almost every aspect, and each game has a good story to tell. Now imagine my happiness when I first saw Fabulous, which is a worthy successor of Delicious and features Emily’s careless sister Angela and a bunch of her fun-loving friends. Well, it is better to say that Angela *was* careless, but as soon as she discovered her talent in fashion design, this girl turned out to be an amazing person who is able to deal with any disaster to achieve her goals. She is also very honest and kind.

In the first Fabulous game (Sweet Revenge), Angela had her heart broken when her husband cheated on her. Poor girl has barely overcome such awful betrayal when she finds out that a mega fashion designer Truly is going to host a reality TV-show to choose the next La Dame a la Mode! (Angela's Fashion Fever) During this part Angela’s friendship and principles are tested by fame, and in the end, she finds out that her idol is not as good as she thought she was and it is friends and love that truly matter. The third game in the series is called Angela's High School Reunion. Unfortunately, I have not played it yet, so cannot say much about the plot except for what I have read on the Steam page so far.

Now I have the pleasure to play the fourth title - Angela's Wedding Disaster. This time Angela is getting ready for her friend’s wedding. And what kind of a wedding would it be without a gorgeous dress! Of course, this girl will have to deal with lots of problems, small issues and crafty enemies, but I am sure that in the end she will be victorious.

I think that Delicious and Fabulous have the best stories and plot twists compared to other games by GameHouse. However, this is just my opinion, so I would also recommend you trying out Mary Le Chef, Heart’s Medicine, The Love Boat, etc. All of them have something unique and tell their own story.

Fabulous is similar to all other GameHouse titles. Here you will need to manage different shops, create amazing dresses, serve cute and annoying customers, and unravel an interesting story. Almost every stage brings something new: a challenging task or some new equipment, a good friend or a bitter rival, another disaster or another victory. Trust me, you will never feel bored.

While this is a time management game, there will be specific requirements to complete a stage. First, the time is limited, so sharpen your high heels and be ready for the battle with…your customers. Second, you customers might become angry if you do not serve them fast enough, and then can even leave the shop – ouch! Third, do not forget to complete special tasks or you will not get 3 stars. And fourth: somewhere in your shop…in the dark-dark corner…of a dark-dark room…there is…A MOUSE! Yes, and you need to find this guy to get additional points. You think it is easy? Ha!

Fabulous also has interesting mini-games that will bring some change to the usual gameplay. Moreover, do not forget about achievements that will make you sweat to complete them.

Recently I have reviewed another game created by GameHouse – Dr. Cares - Amy's Pet Clinic. I have mentioned in my review that its animation looks more stiff compared to Delicious and Fabulous, and after playing Angela's Wedding Disaster I am now 100% sure that it is true. Characters are moving like real people and have lots of different emotions. Customers are full of life and will definitely show you if they are upset or happy.

The music is very bright, but I cannot say that it is special in any way. Just some lovely tracks that set the right mood. However, the opening song is awesome! It is fits Angela’s character perfectly and is a good introduction for this game.


If you are a fan of time-management games and fabulous stories about lives of cheerful fashion designers, then Fabulous - Angela's Wedding Disaster is a game for you! It is very bright, lively and full of good humor. The story is heart-warming and I could not stop smiling while reading about Angela’s new adventures. It will be really difficult not to fall in love with her and her team while helping them to solve another catastrophe. Fabulous is a fascinating series that is becoming better and better with each new episode. What a feast for a true gourmet!
