Being a huge fan of Metro 2033 and Last Light, Exodus was a huge disappointment on every level. All the magic of the previous games is gone and the gripping book-quality narration and character/story development is completely absent. The game also suffers from lots of color grading issues and looks extremely washed out. Just replay the others instead and skip the regrets with this one..

Huge step down from Tannenberg which was great actually.
The animations are jerky and the gunplay is sloppy. There is little fun in playing the game and all the weapons are locked behind grind-walls, that I honestly cant phantom myself wasting more time trying to unlock. 7h and its like halfway to being able to use the first other weapon!, o.O Insane, who thought that was going to be a hit... It might have been fun if you at least could have messed around with different weapons and stuff, but nope. Only that one rifle you start with.

Really meh. Incredibly dated engine and mediocre support for modern systems makes this a bumpy ride.. (have a modern screen? too bad, enjoy 60hz...)
It's not super bad as a game and while the concept feels like it could have worked, its not particularly good either, and when standing next to previous games like Penumbra: Black Plague, Amnesia, SOMA, then this is a disappointment for sure that comes across as uninspired.

Starts decent but turns into absolute jibberish. It's like they forgot what they were writing several times along the way and never actually had any clue as to what the story was supposed to culminate in.. All which gets progressively more apparent as it stumbles on.

It's rare to find a game this good these days, and 10 years later it still looks excellent.
It has its share of "old game" issues with invis walls and very linear designs but overall it's a great game and a true singleplayer experience.

A game ruined by mismanagement.. What a tragedy to see Techland go from hero to zero. Now also owned by Tencent which really is the final nail in the coffin.

It's nice. Not as nice as Battle for Bikini Bottom but still neat.
There are some questionable design decisions, The tikis are oversized and feel awkward to try and hit in groups now, and the collect-a-thon items are pretty boring and nonsensical (not to mention useless?) where as in the first game they at least made "spongebob sense" and had some kind of purpose.

The level designs are OK-ish, but less iconic and memorable.
Keyboard/mouse control was borked when I tried so that seems like a regression.
The soundtrack is a little all over the place.
I guess its just nitpicking really, the game is nice and well done, just a bit less inspired then the previous one.
The GDD would have needed to bake a little longer in the owen, as well as the level layouts/designs.

Completely unplayable with constant freezing that last for several seconds, along with crash to desktops :/
I honestly thought this would be at least playable at this point..
