Look Outside is quite simply put one of the best turn based RPG's made in the last years. It learned the lesson from a lot of other notable RPG Maker games from recent years like Fear and Hunger and added a more surface Lovecraftian touch to it, and the result is outstanding. It had been a while since a game pushed me to finish it in just one day, but this game somehow had me gripped from the moment I bought it till I reached the ending, such is the quality in all of it's aspects, from dialogue, to soundtrack, gameplay, enemy design, world design, characters and artwork.

Everything you love about turn-based RPG's is woven very well, I also loved the story and learning slowly about what caused this incident, while catching glimpses here and there of it's denizens, as well as for the themes that this game tries to transmit to it's players by brilliantly knowing when to scare you and be more serious, as well for when to tone it down and give you a laugh.

For me the game has some balancing issues and that's probably the only less good aspect I have to say about it, I found that in the beginning it has that crushing difficulty that we've been used to in recent years with games like LISA and FHunger, but midway you literally trailblaze through everything after unlocking/discovering certain items and the game becomes just too easy, so everyone complaining/leaving bad reviews about the difficulty just probably wanted the game to play itself or didn't really read/pay attention to the demands the game has.

Highly recommended for those who love Body Horror, Lovecraft themes, Turn Based RPG/JRPG.
