Good feels, much fun, many wow

I shyed away from the review score, but I am pleasantly surprised the first few levels were a lot of fun, I'm not good at the game, but I can appreciate that the game doesn't feel like it hand-holds -- which in the words of Gaben hand-holding in other games makes the game "feel like the game is ignoring you" -- other games have invisible force-fields to stop you from doing stupid things like flying off course -- this pleasantly doesn't stop the player from doing what I want to do. Plays good on Steam Deck, no idea why the reviews are not in the 8X or 9X

I'm not that far but these mechanics do feel a lot more in line with Portal 1. I wasn't too thrilled about the new Portal 2 mechanics after being a big fan of 1 and this feels like a return to the complex problem solving that made Portal 1 such a mindfsck.

a hidden gem on steam

Plays great on Steam Deck, the levels are fun, good mechanics and the twist in the more advanced levels is really interesting. As a marble game enjoyer this is in my top favorite marble games easily.

2k updated the game solely to require a launcher to help advertise their other games. This update bricks the game on linux, including the newly released steam deck. What the heck?
