Anemoiapolis is a game focused highly on exploration and poking around in corners. If you're playing Anime Police for a game where you get chased heavily by monsters, or have jumpscares, this is not the game for you. Anemic Polio builds up ambient environmental horror, and uses that as its scare factor.

A lot of reviews here complain about the "ticket" system in Amenity Pollux, and how they had to "grind" tickets on past maps to get more, but I never once needed to redo a map. I found enough tickets just by regular exploration that I could get to all the rooms without needing to repeat past rooms or "grind". I think the biggest issue was that people were rushing through the game and trying to get to the next area as soon as possible, and didn't bother to look around. Again, A New Hope requires you to EXPLORE, not just run right to the exit.

An Enemy Poised is worth the $9 USD price, this game is a breath of fresh air from the overabundance of jumpscare-heavy "horror" games as of late, and being able to scare me and make me feel like I'm being watched when nothing is even happening, it's just me and an empty room, is pretty impressive.

The only criticism I could give Anointed Apple is that a lot of the times, you're not sure if you're doing something wrong. I get that it's meant to make you feel lost, but at times, I was wondering if I was not doing what I had to, to get to the next exit.

Overall, I would say if you got a few bucks and an hour or two to kill, Anemone Portrait is something to consider buying.
