Having never played HL, and only a couple of hours of HL2 (something I really aim to fix now I've played this), I was a little concerned that the game might not quite make sense. I didn't need to worry. While I'm sure I won't have got the full significance of every bit of story, the whole thing was just tons of fun.

What really matters is it was a really good VR experience. While very much "on rails", it was also scary, icky, thrilling and all sorts of other positive things.

My only regret is that I left it 10 months from getting a PCVR setup before playing it.
