Princess&Blade is lewd, third-person action-RPG about a princess (named “Princess” I guess) and a talking blade; between her “little [bass]” and the blade’s “sharpness and power”, evil doesn’t stand a chance!

Note: this article is a FRACTION of the full review. To read the whole article (including commentary and ratings), be sure pay my site a visit.

Gameplay
Following the invasion of “evil spirits”, it’s up to Princess and a “talking blade” to save the Shia people. Although the “sharpness and power” of the blade are legendary, she must tactfully sneak, attack, roll and collect clothes to overcome her enemies.

Sexual Content
The general animation is okay, but the voice acting is poor. It’s what I’d expect from a throwaway puzzle game. It’s also disembodied — Princess’ mouth doesn’t move while voice clips play. On that topic, her [cunny] doesn’t move as she thrusts her hand inside.

Verdict
Princess&Blade has undergone positive changes, but I still can’t recommend this game to anybody (even if you enjoy “bad” action-RPGs). Combat is monotonous and enemies are disinteresting. The clothing system is a cool idea, but the weird physics and lack of stylistic coherency kill the customization for me. I think some day, Princess&Blade will be a fun, unpolished gem among hack-and-slash RPGs. But for now, Princess&Blade needs another year or two before it’s worth buying.

(People care to update their reviews - wow! Didn't actually expect anyone to...)

Fair enough, no doubt.

My motivation to write here is that quite a few points had been changed by updates, which of course would not necessarily change your judgement.

yeah yeah

I published my report at 4AM, I couldn't be fekked to update the Steam version.

I still think the combat is "disinteresting" and unbalanced; I feel the scores I assigned this game are fair. It's just a little bit too rough for me to recommend even to gamers that like enjoy this. . . tier of hack-and-slash.

Care to update this one, if you care at all. So much has changed. If you're annoyed by the not-so-complex combat, so be it. Though, more difficult opponents most of the time take longer to take down in about every game in existence. Not always, but most of the time.

The review on my website is now updated to reflect the current state of the game.

Few of the verdict seems to apply by now. Obviously some updates happened.

do you prefer attack systems from other games?
Like dodge dodge dodge attack?
the systems are the same for 90 percent of the games.
To complain about that is blasphemy.

You're right, as you can see the vast majority of content in this article isn't about the game, it's actually just a really long web address for my website

This is not a review, but self promotion.

I think there is hope. I hesitated to post a "negative review", but ultimately I found the gameplay too unfun even for EA adopters. It's actually a pretty interesting idea though!
