As someone who is coming back to guitar after many years of having given it up, Rocksmith is a really refreshing experience. I remember staring at black and white pages of tabs and being bored out of my mind playing them over and over again. Playing on top of a backing track however with an engaging UI is a completely different ball game. I've found myself playing this game every day for a week and I have no plans to stop.

But once it is set up it really is a fun way to learn guitar. The lessons are all quite good. The tracks that come with the base game are pretty decent with good variety. The ability to practice specific sections and control the speed of the track is fantastic!

Definitely still recommend this one in 2022.

This is a really great game with a lot of potential.

There is some frame stuttering. There are UI bugs. There are gameplay bugs.

But none of these are present enough to detract from the overall experience of the game. I play very few games these days, usually I give up on a game after about an hour, but this one sucked me in.

What a fantastic game, you'll be sitting at your keyboard for hours scratching your head until the AHA moment comes and you finally run a program that works. The feeling of accomplishment once you complete a task is unreal.

As other reviewers have mentioned however this isn't a game for everybody, but if you like Puzzles, Logic and Programming you'll love this.

Fantastic Game, really enjoyed my playthrough.
A lot of reviewers mention that knowing Linux commandline helps but honestly anyone can play this game with the addition of a pad paper and a pen to write down commands for easy reference.
Definitely buy this!
