If you come here expecting EDF you're going to be disappointed.

The customisation is fine, probably the only fun to be had here is making atrocities and showing them off, but everything else is miles away from how satisfying the mechs feel in EDF.
The weight behind their walk? gone.
The good sound design? gone.
The joy of over-killing an enemy to see it ping across the map? Gone.

The choice of weapon might as well not matter with how similar they all feel and how little the enemies seem to care.

ignoring all the other glaring problems everyone else has mentioned, the game just fails to deliver on the mechs alone.

A beautiful game with a great atmosphere, wonderful music and unforgiving enemies that will punish you for reaching too high, too fast.

Worth every penny.
