I recommend this game but very tentatively. If you enjoy beat-em-ups or Hades/Binding of Isaac style top-down dungeon crawlers, you may like the combat and movement in this game. If you aren't a fan of story rich games that require you to read a lot, this game will be agonizing for you. Some of the story might also be lost on some players that haven't played or read up on the League of Legends lore, but it does hold up as a standalone story.

There were some levels in the middle of the game that felt like they were the exact same every time, and started making me want to play something else, but I think the reason I stuck around was because the combat felt really nice. If you are looking for a game of this style to fill the void in your empty Steam library, then it is worth the $20, but it wouldn't be on my top 10 steam purchases list if I was looking to save money.
