Huh... Well, to be honest, I expected more. For real, so many people praised the game for being awesome and stuff, how cool and edgy the antagonist is, and how nice it feels to just, you know, be wild in this game. To forget about morality, or being a good, obedient and civilized member of the society and just... let loose.

So I purchased it, played through the 1st level, "Home", and here are my thoughts.

The character, the antagonist of the game - yes, he's edgy, he's full of hate. But what is the source of this hatred? I didn't quite get it. Is that people around him? One-sided love? Maybe he's fired from his job? Did he have a job? Where's his family? Who was his parents? There are no answers, all we have is a guy with long black hair, wearing trenchcoat and worn jeans and boots , he has no name (no, his name is NOT Notim Portant, I'll just call him The Guy) nor job, but he has a stash of weapons in the house, and a heart full of hatred and a mind full of insanity.

After a short tutorial explaining movement and using firearms and grenades, The Guy get to the streets and start the massacre.

Killing of unarmed civilians is not fun. When they see you for the first time, they'll try to run for dear life, but instead of getting far away from you they actually starting to get back to you after some time. Not good, but couldn't be done otherwise, because these civilians are, in fact, a living, moving health vials. Devs decided that health packs and regeneration are lame, so instead of those obsolete techniques, Guy replenish health by melee executions, and he can do it even during the combat under heavy gunfire. This action, of course, renders him invincible while execution sequence is playing. And this will come in handy when, after killing enough of victims, Guy cause police to start to show up and they bring guns to a gunfight.

Controls doesn't feel comfortable. You'll constantly stuck into walls and doors and other stuff that would be around. Especially when you trying to strafe during shooting. And you'll have to do a lot of shooting.

The Guy starts with AK, and then he can pick up weapons from the fallen enemies. But there are no enemies with assault rifles on 1st level so ammunition will be depleted very fast, and then you're left with pistol and shotgun, which are actually not terrible weapons, but are bland comparing to AK.

After you deal with all civilians on the street, some special places marked on the map, and complete your primary objective - level will be over, and you go to the next one. Which, I guess, will contain just as much shooting and maybe a couple of different side tasks.

I played on Linux, and there were various problems during those 40 minutes that I've played.
My PC meets the recommended system requirements, so I cranked up that graphic settings up to Ultra. Maybe I shouldn't do that.
Soapy textures in the menu and in the game, texture bugs during gameplay, especially during execution sequences, and lags, lots of lags.
Game freezed during loading of 1st level for a few minutes, after that I was able to play. But then the game freeze on loading screen of 2nd level, this time for good. And that's when I stopped playing.

My recommendation would be to better get POSTAL or POSTAL Redux. Seriously.

Played on a computer of the following configuration:
OS: Linux 18.3 Cinnamon x64;
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500k @ 3.30 GHz x 4;
RAM: 7.8 Gb;
GPU: ASUS NVidia GTX 1050Ti 4Gb;
GPU Driver version: 418.56.
