tomatopaste more like tomatobased - joke explained, tomatopaste commonly uses the 'trolldier subclass in tf2 (portmanteau of troll and soldier) where you use the rocket jumper, which does zero damage allowing high movement potential through rocket jumping, and the market gardener, which grants guaranteed crits while the user is rocket jumping. This playstyle is commonly known as being based (a word that surfaced on the website '4chan', typically meaning something is good or to agree with) as it takes high skill to perform the midair crits with the market gardener, and difficult techniques with the rocket jumper such as sync jumps.
