EDIT:
Apparently on 12/19/24, 2 WEEKS after I made this review, this is STILL an issue!

Installs Kernel Level Spyware! AntiCheatExpert! Seems more invasive and conflicts with Easy-Anti Cheat, which itself is also kernel-level. ACE, even when this game was NOT running and was UNINSTALLED, and the 'ACE' service STOPPED was interfering with my ability top open an EAC game. THAT WAS THE ISSUE!! I received the error message, "Please close ACE-BASE before launching"

IF you uninstall the game, it still keeps these services on your system. I found out there hard way when I went to open up another game and received an error pertaining to 'ACE-BASE'.

DO NOT FOLLOW THESE STEPS IF YOU PLAN TO PLAY THIS

To remove:
Open CMD in administrator mode and enter these commands:

sc delete ACE-GAME
sc delete ACE-BASE
sc delete "AntiCheatExpert Service"
sc delete "AntiCheatExpert Protection"

And of course restart your PC to finalize the deletions

Hi! Thank you for playing Delta Force and sharing your feedback with us.

Fair play and integrity are core values for us, and we are committed to combating cheating to maintain a fair and enjoyable gaming environment. To achieve this, we work with ACE, an anti-cheat solution that is trusted by a roster of prestigious developers and operates at the kernel level, which is necessary to counter modern hacking tools that also function at this level. This approach has been widely adopted by other game developers to protect their communities. We have also resolved an issue where ACE wasn’t properly uninstalled when Delta Force was uninstalled. Now uninstalling the game will also uninstall ACE.

We would like to clarify that our anti-cheat tool only runs while the game is active. We are aware of false alerts from certain security tools indicating that ACE is running when it is not, and we are actively working with said party to address this issue.

Thank you for your understanding and support!

Incorrect.

AntiCheat Expert is "trusted" (read: forced) on multiplayer TenCent games and nothing more. Outside of companies owned wholly or in part by TenCent, no one uses it.

Your anticheat system isnt working. Cheating is very much a thing in this game specialy with no killcam (what a brilliant idea). Combine cheating with TERRIBLE maps, INSANE SBMM (Skill Based MatchMaking) and you have yourself a terrible game that doesnt deserve a moment of my time. Soon you will start to see player base to drop and you will wonder why. Like there is noone telling you what the problems are. Even big game streamers are telling you but you dont listen. You will kill your own game. Just dont wonder why later.

@fairplayer916

With a statement like that, you probably haven't played any multiplayer with anti-cheat software for years, since most of them access to the Kernel.

And no anti-cheat tool fends off all cheaters. That has never been the case and unfortunately it will never be. Anyone who approaches the matter with this expectation is far removed from reality.

so they devs response to this invasive spyware is "we need to to block and ban cheaters" while the game is still flooded with them? smells like bullsh*t to me.

really sucks because i WANT to play this game. but it seems way to fishy too me to justify.

Seems that this "anti-cheat" you so much highly value is not even working at all. Because your game is CRAWLING with cheaters. Its unplayable. LOL. What a JOKE.

@Sir Arthur McPeckerDriz The 1th

Other anti-cheat programs behave in the same way, for various reasons. For example, if another game also uses the Anti-cheat tool. And ACE is used by quite a few then it will not uninstall itself when you uninstall Delta Force.

@Alyzah

Interesting that you bring an update that the “problem” (it is not really a problem, since currently almost every anti-cheat program acts like this and is not automatically uninstalled) does not occur with others and it automatically uninstalls itself. I just tested it last week and there are no residual files left.

@DarkAshFur

I don't know where you read that Windows/Microsoft will remove kernel access. That was a rumor that was simply hyped and refuted by Microsoft 3 months ago. The only thing that will come is that users will get more control over it.

thats a bs statement from the devs because i uninstalled today and had to uninstall each of them on its own and tbh uninstalling ACE was the biggest pain in the ass because it didn't want to remove ACE. had to get rid of everything separately.. complete bs
