Early Access Review
This is EVE Online for people who think the 3D spaceships part of EVE is time wasted away from their spreadsheets.

It's very specific type of game made for a very specific type of people. But there is no reason to be confused or feel deceived by it, the description and screenshots in the Steam page are pretty clear about what this product is.

The game is relatively well polished, and runs on pretty much any device, including mobile web browsers. And it does what it says on the label: You try to make a profitable company by carefully planning your income and expenses, and by collaborating with other players on an open market.

At first, you can spend 10min / day in-game and that's enough to do all your actions. Then... You still spend 10min / day in-game, but you also spend a lot of time in spreadsheets carefully planning your future 10 min actions.

So is it worth it? The 8€/month subscription is pretty expensive, even more so for an early access game. I almost gave a negative review on that basis alone. But if the game delivers exactly what it promises, and appeals to a niche audience that couldn't be profitable without said subscription, well.. I doesn't seems like the devs could do much better than that, so I'll leave a positive review.

As for its learning curve... The in-game tutorial is a bit lackluster, but there are youtube videos and an in-browser manual that gives helpful pointers. I'm sure most people will need the help, but since I already had some experience with that kind of gameplay, coming from EVE and the like, I was able to get my company running without even watching tutorials or reading more than a page or two of guidebook. So it's a steep learning curve, but it's not impossibly so either.

EDIT: I'd like to add a point of attention though, and it's about alts. How much are alts allowed, how much they are detected, and how much this can be abused... With so little actual playtime required, I could see this becoming a problem.
