I preface this by saying I'm not adept at racing games, so I cannot give an opinion about technical aspects regarding driving mechanics or car physics. I was willing to give a sim racer a chance regardless. So, this review is more about how the game itself functions, rather than how the driving is. Other reviews can cover for that aspect.

That being said, Project Motor Racing outside of racing is quite the mess. This game launches without audio for me, which means that's a lot away immediately when I can't discern how my vehicle is doing based on hearing alone. I play with a controller, the beginner I am, so vibration would be helpful feedback as well, but there's none of that either. Thus I'm left to rely completely on the HUD and visuals.

The visuals are just alright and I get high framerates on 4070 Super, but they are not stable. Changing graphical settings causes the game to freeze, AI drivers passing me causes the game to freeze, and sometimes it just freezes because it feels like it. Oftentimes the game freezes, for what feels like a minute, and I find myself outside of the track facing the opposite direction when it resumes. The lighting is ugly, some lightsources reflecting off of wet road in massive, blurry blobs.

I can't imagine buying this for 59,99€, or 90€ with day 1 DLCS and season pass, in its current state. Incredibly, this game struggles harder than AAA UE5 titles I've reviewed. Performance is absolute bottom tier and the game has no sound for me. I would not suggest buying it right now.

If I had a nickel for every time I've backed an SCP game, I'd have two nickels.
Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

Overall a great SCP game on a solid foundation. The worst things were related to the layout of some sections of the map, the enemy AI and animation, and very minor inconsistencies with certain interactions.

Best thing to me was probably the performance. These days I am conditioned to prepare myself for the worst frames and stutters imaginable when I see the Unreal Engine logo, but Fragmented Minds runs on ultra at my native resolution which is was a positive shock to me. The game doesn't look photorealistic. It looks like a game with a cool art style. While the gameplay so far isn't anything to write home about, exploring Mars and Site-113 was actually really fun.

I'd usually say something like, "Alright game at a stinky price," but here I think it's priced accordingly to the Early Access.

I was lied to. There are more than 20 characters and I was reduced to tears after the credits.

How is this pinnacle of gaming only 3,99€?

As of right now the performance is terrible to the point it affects combat and movement. That is not to say there isn't any potential in this, quite the contrary but reaching any satisfactory state will take a while.

If you're looking for something more than just playable, this isn't it right now. You're purchasing a product because you believe in the vision and are willing to invest into its future.

As reference, I have a 2070 Super and cannot hit 60 FPS (or anything stable) on low settings with render scale below halfway.

It's great. Plays like Quake. The visuals are horrid in a very charming way and the catchy music is distorted to hell, along with some of the weapon sounds. The levels are not visually pleasing, lighting is either too bright or dark and geometry is unpolished. Despite this, I think the overall layout of maps makes up for the faults.

It's a fun mess that makes me think of Cruelty Squad visually, except more coherent. 3€ is a good price to visit Brazil.

While not my favourite out of 3-5, it's a memorable experience. There's so much stuff to do that amidst my idol practices I remembered I became the king of street racists (or racer) and hunt The Notorious B.E.A.R. in the same game.

It was also the glitchiest Yakuza game I've played so far but nothing game breaking.

The heat actions were so well animated and you could really feel hurt and impact they had. There were a couple really dumb moves that, unlike other moves which were ridiculous yet still grounded, couldn't keep my suspension of disbelief.

Yakuza 5 had some really forgettable antagonists and would've ruined my experience if I didn't play it for the journey.

5 sits above 4, below 3 for me. Absolutely solid.

It's difficult to recommend this game at its price point. It's a quirky and silly game with issues that add up.

The humour of the game lands for me personally, so I still found enjoyment playing the game. I think one of the best parts were the enemy ragdolls. The gunplay is serviceable at best. It does its job.

The platforming and camera felt atrocious. Movement had no feel of drag or acceleration and finding a good angle for the camera was difficult. Many collectables were extremely high up and the camera in many cases wouldn't pan that high. In other cases, walls were so close that the camera was obstructed, pushing it so close to the squirrel that I couldn't see anything, even in the middle of jumps.

The game suffers from terrible performance and isn't visually very interesting. Turning down graphics settings seems to mess up LOD of guns so badly that even up close they look broken. Fused trigger guards, large gaps between edges, etc.

I can appreciate the novelty of Squirrel with a Gun and it's not a punishing game in the slightest which offsets the faults it has. It's difficult for me to say would I recommend it or not, though if anyone comes up to me asking if this game is worth their 20€ without more context, I would say no. I would pick Squirrel with a Gun over almost any AAA title these days though that's for sure.

A finely crafted cooking sim where you run an izakaya, a Japanese casual bar that serves alcoholic drinks and small dishes.

I opted to play keyboard + mouse and at times I interact with wrong things. However, it's not really an issue as many menus pause the game, even cooking stations so I don't feel pressured by missed inputs. I can simply exit out and go to the correct station. It gets hectic but it's not stressful.

The game has beautiful pixel art and music. Aside from running the izakaya, you have small quests, gathering of ingredients before opening the izakaya, etc.

Originally I planned to check some of the points shop backgrounds from this game, but playing and ended up finding all the snails.
Unfortunately it requires 2 hours of time played to buy them and I found the snails in 8 minutes.

The quirky artwork felt nostalgic to me and it wasn't a bad game for the price.
