2) I only middleman if I am comfortable with both traders.
3) I am ONLY affiliated with reddit.com/r/dota2trade
4) Immediate Blocks if: phishing links are sent, asking me to help scam another player, giving free items, etc.
5) Please do not immediately invite me the multi-user chat to middleman.

The Middleman or Community Admin does NOT hold onto any money at any time of the transaction unless it is a Moneygram transaction. Holding the money in a transaction puts the Middleman at risk of liability if the buyer chooses to reverse or dispute a payment, so this is not common practice, and definitely unsafe for the Middleman or Community Admin.


b]I've laid out a GENERAL overview of the process for you: [/b]
a) Buyer, Seller and Middleman join a multi-user chat.
b) Buyer and Seller confirm the trade agreement with the Middleman.
c) Middleman verifies the Paypal emails of Buyer AND Seller as well as provides the outlines on the trade.
d) Buyer initiates the trade with Middleman from the multi-user chat window and gives the items.
e) Middleman verifies that he has received the items and informs the Seller to proceed with payment.
f) Seller confirms money has been received and confirms that Middleman may give items to Buyer.


a) Report the user that scammed you for violation as mentioned in the guide in number
b) Create a steam support ticket. Hope that steam support takes pity on your plight.
Middlemen are affiliated with Steam but we do not have any special item recovery or trade reversal powers. Only Valve Employees can give your items back.
