Early Access Review
If you are good at these types of games you will do everything the game has to offer in 3-5 hours.

Gameplay is cool, not as smooth as I imagined but I guess this could be fixed.

Some major bugs, I unlocked everything and some icons are missing in the menus, there is also some swaping icons as it shows you a weapon blueprint but it's a medallion.

Also I don't know if I'm stuck in the story but every NPC are gone, and I'm missing some lore things (where TF is the lamp?)

Once you killed a boss, the items will jump once you pick it and overlap one another and you will have to pray to select the one you want.

Stutters at transition screen / Wallrunning.

In short, lower your expectations by a lot, but to end on a positive note, I'm 100% sure that they will improve the game, I trust the devs, I guess it's just my frustration to some key componants that hurts this review, the base is very solid.

EDIT : I was right, devs cooked now it's very good, 1.0 is coming so grab it !

Thanks for your trust despite the bad review ahah.

Yeah we're aware everything is far from perfect (thanks Hades 2 for setting the EA bar that high!), we're truly commited in supporting the game and hopefully make you change your mind.

$30 for 5 hours? sounds like a bargain. These days thats like a meal, or a seeing a movie. People put so much expectations on games based on their price. Price does not equal time played. Weigh it against enjoyment. Did you get $30 of enjoyment out of it? yes/no. Thats it.

this ain't the full game mate, give the devs some time. dead cells was in early access for 7 years, ultrakill is still in early access after 4 years, there are bound to be numerous bugs/glitches in this state. the game isn't probably even half done. 5 hours is pretty good for a game just released in early access.

I've spent $13 for 2 hours of fun at a movie theater and I also never got to keep it. 20 for 5 hours of fun that I get to keep seems pretty reasonable.

I see lots of people talking about this game and as someone who enjoys the Prince of Persia genre.. I think this will be a wait for a bigger sale price.

I get devs have to make money on a game but a $27 price game is pretty steep.
