One of the best games I've ever played.

Sigh. What can I say about Undertale that hasn't already been said? It's a highly emotional story with pretty much the best Original Soundtrack in pretty much any game. As someone who hasn't played a lot of RPGs, I was skeptical going in. I played a few minutes and decided it wasn't for me then decided to just watch playthroughs instead. Thankfully, my friend put some sense into me. She convinced me that I had to play it first before watching. I was already about an hour and a half into a playthrough but I went ahead with playing anyway, at my friend's counsel.

Boy am I glad I listened to her. Playing this game was the highlight of my Christmas vacation. It hits all the right notes, is perfectly paced and you actually feel like you want to explore and see everything the game has to offer...

...Until you finish it. Boy, this game has brought me to tears multiple times. You know that feeling when Life is Strange and How I Met Your Mother ended? That the ending was either extremely anger-inducing or you liked it but feel like you can't go back and watch what happened before for some tugging reason? (The latter was me for both.) Let me warn you, Undertale is the inverse, but not the opposite. No spoilers but when you beat it a certain way, you might feel that things are too perfect to ever play it again. You can watch all the playthroughs you want but not want to touch the game again, personally. And it is a good thing. All of the endings are amazing. But.... you'll see. When you buy this game and play it.
