100 hidden Cthulhu fish

This was a really fun Cthulhu inspired hidden object game. The art is very peculiar and that's one of the things that drew me in. I had the pleasure of receiving an early copy so I could review the game.

Starting off, the main menu sets the vibe. Good art, simple and to the point. Settings and Controls are pretty standard. Creative bonus points for using the same art style to show controls. The music is not bad, but it can get repetitive. You can change the music levels in options.

When finding the fish, once clicked, they turn green and make a funny sound. Amusing.
I loved that it has a zoom function. I reviewed a game recently that did not, and it was very upsetting. In most hand drawn hidden object games, zoom is essential. Most have very fine details and are hard to distinguish. Difficulty is average which feels adequate.

The game is a tad bit short. It took me roughly 30 minutes to finish its 4 levels.
Overall, I really enjoyed the game. I loved the art style and theme plus it was very fun.
A demo is currently available to try, although the game is currently on sale for its release. Perfect time to grab it!

Side Note - These are some features I would've liked to see but they're mostly just extras. Adding a hint button would've saved me quite some time when trying to find that last fish hidden in a character's eye. Also, having a penalty for over-clicking would add a bit of a challenge. I definitely over clicked trying to find that last one.

There were several objects in the scenes that screamed "click me!". In a way, I was expecting these to have a hidden fish inside but ultimately didn't. Adding those as "extras" or bonuses would've been fun. Maybe making the fish look "scarier" as well would've been interesting.
Along the same lines, having more random fish, out of the 100 we need to find, look a bit "scarier" or "lovecraftian" would add a nice twist and fit perfectly with the art style.

Overall, I really enjoyed the game. It was short and I wished it had more levels. I would've played it for longer, it was very fun.
