2 - My hyperbole is being used to describe how I feel, basic literacy.
In a rogue-lite/like game, item variety can greatly improve the run. New characters are nice, but they will use the same weapons/metas from pre-DLC, reducing the value of these additions. New items bring new gameplay to every character, which enhances build variety.
This is why I am upset. I do not think it is a "bad" DLC, but I believe it lacks potential. I love nightreign, and I do not see it as a cash grab. I would love for them to continue supporting the game with many new additions in the coming years, even if I have to pay for them.
