I'm sorry Todd, it just doesn't work.

This game mainly lacks the very thing that made Bethesda games great in the first place: interesting and rewarding exploration. A quest or surprising situation around every corner...

Starfield feels like someone tried to copy this game design but added a few steps just to make it more tedious. First the player needs to fly their boring arse ship across a few menu screens, then watch a a bunch loading screens and ultimately walk a thousand freaking kilometers before you actually encounter the same base filled with the same generic space pirates.

And Bethesda, don't you dare comment on my review with this "but the astronauts on the lunar mission also blablabla...". No! Games aren't meant to be realistic. They're meant to be fun.

Combine this with shallow combat and quests, the worst inventory system in gaming history and and the fact that this game is insanely unoptimised and you get Starfield. I rather watch freaking paint dry.

In general I'm a big Bethesda games fan. I loved Skyrim, Oblivion and Fallout 4 so I'm not writing this review to sh1t on your work Todd. But this game just doesn't work for me...

PLEASE stick to what you did great in Skyrim and Fallout 4 for the next Elder Scrolls game. And ffs stop using this broken af creation engine!

Kind regards,
Your biggest fan.
