I just cannot recommend this DLC. It's nothing about the difficulty, more just the performance of it.

There's lots of fps drops that can easily get you killed mid fight. Also a lot of the boss fights where the boss is bigger in size the camera goes nuts. Now this is a normal thing that can happen in Souls Games but it feels more buggy in SotE, almost like a patch would make it better. My main complaint however is the overabundance of effects, mainly in boss fights. I've turned my effects setting to low and there is still so much. Enough that it starts to hurt my eyes after a while, then I get headaches that turn into migraines. It makes it really hard to enjoy the experience when I constantly have to take frequent breaks. I've played all the Soulsborne+ games and never had to deal with this issue and as a die hard fan it's really upsetting.

TL:DR, Fps drops in boss fights, buggy camera, and too many effects in many boss fights that can cause a lot of eye strain quickly.
