Of the last 3 CFB games from CFB 25 to CFB 27 this one is by far the best one gameplay and mechanics wise. Bravo to the development team.

However due to EA having biblical levels of greed and their response to all the backlash introducing microtransactions to offline game modes I will not be recommending this to anyone. EA needs to be stripped of their exclusive rights to produce these games and let it fall into the hands of another publisher that won’t ♥♥♥♥ its casual player base over. They’ve been doing this microtransaction BS for YEARS on Madden and now they’re starting with CFB. It’s unacceptable. If you haven’t already bought the game don’t buy it now

EDIT: At the time of editing of this review an update should have been rolled out that removes any and all microtransactions from the offline modes of RTG and Dynasty. War's over, we won. I now feel comfortable recommending this game because as stated in my original review, this game is absolutely the best of the bunch since the new era of CFB games started. Amazing work to the development team and as always while they might have blinked and backed down on this matter and listened to the player base (only because it was hurting their profit margins) it's still absolutely F*CK EA AND THEIR CORPORATE GREED. I am still of the mind that EA deserves to lose their exclusive rights to publish these games and let this franchise and the outstanding dev team go work for a studio that actually cares
